Join NAIOP for a 2-part session that explores Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles in Commercial Real Estate. Led by Lori Mabardi, Senior Director of ESG for Barings, Lori will explore the foundational concepts shaping the ESG conversation in commercial real estate today. Attendees will understand why the pressure is building to consider ESG in real estate investments, and will leave the course with the ESG strategies needed to engage in the ever-evolving landscape. Topics will include a deep dive of Physical and Transition risk and mitigation; as well as a discussion of Net Zero Carbon practices and how to integrate them into CRE. In addition to taking a deep dive in the “Environmental” aspect of ESG, Lori will cover how the real estate industry can think about the Social and Governance aspects.
